My name is Anthony Bahadir Lopez. I was originally born in Redlands, California but since then I have lived in many Southern California locations including San Bernardino, Temecula, San Diego, and now Irvine. I attained a Bachelors in Science in Computer Engineering at UC San Diego. Currently I studying at UC Irvine in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science graduate department. My objective is to attain a Doctorate degree for Computer Engineering and eventually teach and conduct research on Security of Automotive and Transportation Systems as a professor.
I consider myself to be a prime example of diversity as I am a product of several cultures: Mexican, Turkish, and American. Through this diversity, I gained the valuable skill of keeping an open mind throughout my entire life. It’s this open mind that allows me to easily mingle and efficiently work with others. In the future, I hope to incorporate this characteristic of mine in my teaching.
Currently, my research interests include Automotive Security and I am in the AICPS (Advanced Integration of Cyber-Physical Systems) Lab at UC Irvine under Dr. Mohammad Al Faruque. For more information about what we do, you can check the website here: http://aicps.eng.uci.edu/.
If you have any questions about what I do or what we do. Or just about my CV or about life in general, you can always email me at anthl10@uci.edu or you can post on this website!
I look forward to hearing from you!
With highest regards,
Anthony Bahadir Lopez
