Fall Quarter 2012

Attention visitors,

Another year, another fresh start! And for those new to UCI, welcome! We are the UCI American Society of Mechanical Engineers, one of the many chapters to the oldest and most legitimate organization nationwide specifically for mechanical engineers. Our goal is to create a basic foundation for mechanical engineering majors, providing opportunities to develop the skills and social contacts necessary to jumpstart a career in the multidisciplinary field of engineering. We also do social events such as Ping-Pong tournaments, potlucks, etc. Finally, we will also be planning to offer invites to the OC section meetings where professionals in their field will be gathering; this is another great way to get to know more about your career major options. But of course, our organization is open to any engineering majors who are interested. So stay tuned for our first general meeting; email any of our board members for more information regarding ASME; and see you soon!
