About Me

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of California Irvine. I specialize in social movements, political sociology, culture, and qualitative methods.

I am a William F. Podlich Research Fellow at the Center for the Study of Democracy and a Pedagogical Fellow with the Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation.

I earned an M.A. in Sociology from UC Irvine, an M.P.A. in Public Affairs from Washington State University, and a B.A. in Anthropology from Haverford College.
