Instructure provided two updates: streamlined selection of dashboard view options, and new text messaging notification options for students.
Options for dashboard view

Individuals can now use the gear in the upper right corner to configure their view of the dashboard. The options include recent activity and course cards.
New SMS notification options for students
Provided by Instructure
Students can now opt-in to receive two new types of text notifications:
- A reminder to turn in any unsubmitted online assignments that are still available after the due date
- A reminder to retry a quiz if a quiz contains multiple attempts and the highest score received was less than an A or 95%
