Forty years ago, Houston hosted the 1977 International Year of Women/National

the NWC attracted 20,000 attendees, including 2,000 delegates from the fifty states and
six territories, to create a national women’s agenda. Please join us to learn about the
Asian American and Pacific Islander women who participated in this historic event.
