UCI Saturday Academy of Law is hiring Teaching Assistants

August 7, 2017
UC Irvine School of Law is deeply committed to diversity in the legal profession. The Saturday Academy of Law (“SAL”) is an opportunity to expose a diverse group of students to the legal profession while helping them improve their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.

Currently, we are looking for dedicated undergraduate students to serve as
Teaching Assistants to help facilitate the lesson plan for the students. In the classroom, students learn a series of Supreme Court Cases pertaining to First Amendment rights in school and evaluate a hypothetical case at the end of the session. Students and TA’s also have the opportunity to network with local lawyers and judges who present to the class.

Click here to download TA application for Fall Session. The Fall session runs six consecutive Saturdays from September 30th through November 4th, 2017 from 7:30 AM to 1 PM.
Application Deadline: August 25, 2017.
