Orange County CSTA Chapter

Computer Science teachers in Orange County are founding a regional chapter of the Computer Science Teachers Association.  If you are interested in computer science education in Orange County, we welcome and encourage you to join our new OC chapter — CSTA4OC.

The Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) is a membership organization that supports and promotes the teaching of computer science. CSTA provides opportunities for K–12 teachers and their students to better understand computer science and to more successfully prepare themselves to teach and learn.

CSTA4OC’s mission is to empower, engage and advocate for K-12 CS teachers and students in Orange County as well as to provide a community in which CS teachers can network with each other, share their experiences and expertise, and work collaboratively to improve collective teaching skills and the academic performance of OC students.

CSTA4OC will meet approximately once a month — currently planned for the second Saturday of each month at noon, to be held at the Orange County Department of Education.
