Simon Penny in Barcelona

Ebarceloneta mug 2  smlAD faculty member Simon Penny is presently in residence at the Hangar in Barcelona, Spain, teaching a graduate seminar in a masters program in Cognitive Systems and  Interactive Media. He will also be running a workshop on Interdisciplinary Research for EU project Soft Control later in June, a well as pursuing his own art and bioengineering research project. He reports that even with the European economic crisis, Barcelona ia “hopping with progressive cultural activities” such as the current  Primavera festival. Last week, there was a Europe-wide “night of the museums”, and in Barcelona no less than 62 museums were open all night for free.
