UC Campuses Crown the Rankings in US News Top Public Universities, 2016

We list the California Public Universities that ranked in the top 100 Public National Universities.  We also add the rest of the top 10 public Universities for comparison.  We also show the tuition and fees, which are fairly close for most public universities.  Then we add the number of undergraduates, and the acceptance rates of the listed universities.(As usual in these reports, we point out that rankings are nowhere near as good as having composite scores on which the rankings are based, or the statistical significance between rankings.)

Did I forget to mention that UC Irvine tied for number 9 among national public universities!

Also, six of the top 11 of the national public universities are UC schools!

Out of state tuition for the UC schools is about $38,000.

The UCs offer total tuition coverage for in-state students whose families earn less than $80,000 a year!
