Pandora’s Computer Strikes Back

Pandora’s Computer Strikes Back

The analysis of Anthony Weiner’s computer by the FBI, which I warned against, calling it Pandora’s computer, has indeed struck with a totally unexpected story, whose consequences are still to be revealed. We have not even learned anything about Clinton’s emails that were on the computer. What we learned first was that FBI Director James Comey was being Republican partisan by revealing that they were going to analyze the computer, but results would be slow in coming. This is now having a serious effect on Clinton voters, and has given Trump a new hot issue, not backed by any facts, just the way he likes it.

Clinton is now behind in the swing states of: Ohio by 5 points; Arizona by 5 points; New Hampshire is a dead heat; and all important Florida is a toss-up.

What we have now learned is that the FBI agents involved in the Clinton email investigation were upset that there were no charges made initially, and that they are largely partisan Republican. And we learned that they were going to leak the information, so Director Comey felt that he needed to get out in advance of this, which doesn’t give him a real excuse. Two wrongs do not make a right. It is not apparent that he is going to investigate or discipline the agents involved in breaking the Justice Department and FBI protocols, as well as violating the Constitutional requirements of Due Process.

Then we learned that some FBI agents had been communicating about the October surprise with the central Trump campaign figure of Mayor Giuliani, who couldn’t wait to brag to a news network that there were going to be a few surprises before the election. Perhaps this goes back to New York connections, where director Comey is from, and where he was United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York from Dec. 2003 to August 2005. Mayor Giuliani is was publicly bragging that he had inside knowledge of the FBI investigation, which may well be a violation of the law, and he has now denied any inside knowledge.

It certainly cast aspersions on Trump’s campaign and his continual moaning that everything about the campaign, and the world in fact, is fixed. Yes it is Donald, and again, in your favor. Any other campaign would disown Giuliani, and stop creating speculative accusations against Clinton in the case of such internal FBI manipulations that sound like Watergate and make his campaign the “fixer”.
