Trump: The King of Pursuing Witch Hunts

Trump: The King of Pursuing Witch Hunts

Everyone knows that Trump is the leader in pursuing witch hunts, and especially in starting them, all to his political advantage.

We can start before his Presidential race with the birther movement of taking the lead in proving that Obama wasn’t born in the US. Trump claimed that he had an investigator in Hawaii, where Obama was born, but the investigator apparently disappeared, since nothing further was ever heard about that. Trump then claimed that he forced Obama to reveal his birth certificate, as if that was a big deal.

Trump continued the Witch Hunt over Clinton’s email server and deleted emails, pursued for years by Congressional Republicans. Trump pursued his “lock her up” chant, until it became a favor at rallies.

Remember when Trump demanded that NFL owners fire any athletes who took a knee during the National Anthem, when they were protesting police brutality on blacks. Trump subsequently canceled Obama’s DOJ programs to retrain police.

I could go on and bore the reader who gets the point, but I must mention the 3-5 million imaginary illegal voters, which Trump has used for an excuse to collect national voter registrations and cleanse the voter roles under his direction. I also must not ignore his beginning his campaign disparaging Mexican immigrants, and Muslim immigrants. And then not criticizing Nazi’s and the KKK.

For a moment of humor, if Trump had called the Russian investigation a “Wizard Hunt”, it would have been easily dropped. Wizards are considered very knowledgable, and people would have chuckled when Trump was accused of being one.

I think an unbiased look at Trump’s Witch Hunt record shows that he is much more the victimizer than the victim.

Should I have called Trump the Wizard of Witch Hunts, instead of the King? I’m sure that either superlative would please him.

You just can’t conjure this stuff up!
