The People’s Kitchen: Dine for a cause

The People’s Kitchen is a community restaurant that couples political education and social movement building with a local, organic meal prepared by participants, community members, and chefs Saqib Keval (People’s Kitchen founder) and Roger Feely. This workshop features two opportunities:

Part 1. Cook with Eco-chef Roger Feely
2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
This hands-on cooking experience allows participants to learn about sustainable cooking techniques and cultural cuisine. Space is limited to 20.

Part 2. Dine with Café Encuentro
5:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Dine with Café Encuentro and participate in a dialog on the theme. Space is limited to 30.
