My name is Babak Haghpanah Jahromi. I am currently a CAE engineer at Byton, where I use FEA simulations to enhance durability and reliability of electric vehicles. Prior to this job, I was an associate specialist at the department of mechanical and aerospace engineering at the University of California Irvine (Valdevit group). I held post-doctoral research positions at the University of California Los Angeles in 2015, working with Jonathan Hopkins, and Harvard Medical School in 2014, working with Ara Nazarian. I obtained my PhD from the mechanical engineering department at Northeastern University in December 2013, advised by Ashkan Vaziri.
