About Me

I am currently a 4th year PhD student in the Department of Cognitive Science at the University of California, Irvine. I work at the Cognitive Anteater Robotics Laboratory advised by Prof. Jeffrey Krichmar, where I study biological and artificial models of spatial navigation. I am interested in how animals are able to learn in different contexts and transfer their skills to new environments. I also study how the exploration/exploitation tradeoff affects decisions in route planning, and testing out these ideas in an embodied setting with theĀ Android Based Robotics platform.
