Since July 2016 I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Irvine.
My research areas cover statistical and computational methods, voter behavior, political participation, and public opinion.
I am interested in statistical methods for studying the opinion-formation and decision-making processes of citizens who are confronted with a variety of political decisions, including: whether to participate in conventional and unconventional political activities; and whether to support institutional arrangements, a candidate running for public office, or a policy change.
