Thank you for your interest in the NSF-funded IoT-SITY REU at the UC Irvine. Before applying, please review the following student eligibility criteria:
Eligibility
- Must be a United States citizen, national, or permanent resident to apply. International students are NOT eligible for this program.
- Sophomores, juniors, and non-graduating seniors enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or university in the United States
- Computing and Engineering majors
- 3.0 grade point average or higher
- No prior research experience required
- Must be 18 years or older by the start of the program

Application Instructions:
- For each degree, you are working towards or have earned upload an official or unofficial transcript by February 20, 2023. All transcript files MUST be named following this format: Last Name, First Name, Document Type. For example Anteater, Peter, Transcripts. Transcripts that are NOT named, will NOT be considered. All documentation must be submitted with the online application.
- Upload your resume or curriculum vitae by the deadline February 20, 2023. All resume or CV files MUST be named following this format: Last Name, First Name, Document Type. For example Anteater, Peter, Resume. Resumes or CV files that are not named will NOT be considered. All documentation must be submitted with the online application.
- You must provide a faculty member or program director as a recommender with whom you have had direct interaction with.
