The Irvine Math Project provides customized professional development services and products for individual district and school needs. This includes creating coherent pacing and balanced curriculum guides that integrate UCI lessons and/or Open Educational Resource lessons where a textbook is lacking, providing hands-on, concept-based lessons, developing unit assessments that are aligned with the rigor and style Smarter Balanced Assessments, creating homework, and providing storybooks (a teachers guide to all the essentials of a unit). In addition, we provide demonstration lessons as part of lesson study.
