The Fluid Dynamics and Solid Mechanics group at Los Alamos National Laboratory is currently seeking outstanding candidates for a post-doctoral research position in computational mechanics of solids and structures. The prospective candidate is expected to take part in the development of advanced structural theories and computational methods for applications involving composite plates/shells under extreme, dynamic loading conditions.
