We are a local consulting group that specializes in providing clients
with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Title-24 Energy calculations
for various types of buildings covering all ends of the residential and
commercial spectrum. We’re looking to hire a graduating ME or EE senior
that can start working part time primarily with our electrical team
while finishing up school ­ if it’s a good fit for the team, the new
hire may continue working full time upon completion of degree. The ideal
candidate must be willing to learn our methods, be able to communicate
effectively with architects/clients as needed, and most importantly
communicate and interact well with our current team.

TIME SENSITIVE – Texas Tech University Strategic Hires in Wind Energy

Greenwood/Asher & Associates is working in partnership with Texas Tech University seeking three world-class researchers to comprise a research team in wind energy research. Texas Tech is committed to becoming one of the nation’s leaders in finding solutions to the world’s energy challenges.

The Don, Kay, and Clay Cash Foundation Engineering Chair in Wind Energy provides a unique opportunity for leadership of a national effort to focus attention on wind energy solutions to energy problems. The individual selected for the Cash Foundation Chair would also serve as the Executive Director and President of the National Wind Resource Center (NWRC), a Texas Tech-established not-for-profit 501(c)(3) interdisciplinary research center focused on establishing partnerships among universities, the national labs, the U.S. Department of Energy and industry promoting research, innovation and collaboration in the wind energy sector. The successful candidate will be recognized nationally and internationally in wind energy and demonstrate leadership abilities. The university is also seeking two individuals, perhaps as a cluster hire with the Cash Chair, to help lead and increase institutional efforts in the wind energy area. Each selected individual will also have an appointment to the NWRC. We are seeking innovative and creative faculty who can work in teams to address key issues in the development of sustainable wind energy systems.
