I’m reaching out to you because I have awesome opportunities to share with the Mechanical Engineering graduate and undergraduate students at UCI.

My name is Aaron, and I’m a recent graduate working at MindSumo. Our company’s goal is to connect students to potential employers through technical challenges which allow students to be hired for internships, win cash prizes, and build a portfolio of projects. We just added new challenges specifically for Mechanical Engineering students.

This Challenge from John Deere asks students to design a durable yet easy-to-replace lawn mower blade and offers $500 in prizes.

This Challenge from an anonymous snack company asks students to come up with a more efficient way to deal with bag expansion while shipping snacks across the Rocky Mountains and offers $1000 in prizes.

I know that UCI Mechanical Engineering students could really shine by participating in these challenges.
