How will you be inspired?

Artists, designers, students, DIYers, entrepreneurs and engineers –or makers– are discovering inspiring ways to imagine, design, and build new creations, products, and solutions. Community studios, fabrication labs or maker spaces are popping up across the globe, providing public access to tools and advanced technology formerly only available to manufacturers. This is referred to as The Maker Movement. From open-source design software to consumer- level 3D printers for the home, anyone can become a maker.

Join the Maker Movement by attending the Girls Maker Academy on the campus of the University of California Irvine. Discover tools, techniques and technologies that designers and makers have in their toolkits today: 3D printers, laser cutting technology, design software, and yes, industrial sewing machines!
