I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, Irvine. My primary research interests are in the philosophy of physics, especially the foundations of both classical and quantum field theories. My dissertation investigates the notion of charge in particle physics by comparing and contrasting electric charge and color charge in classical Yang-Mills theory. I have additional research interests in philosophical logic, ethics, and the history of science.
