lf073013_015_m_rogers_5x7I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, Irvine. My primary research interests are in the philosophy of physics, especially the foundations of both classical and quantum field theories. My dissertation investigates the notion of charge in particle physics by comparing and contrasting electric charge and color charge in classical Yang-Mills theory. I have secondary research interests in both logic and in ethics, and in deontic logic.
