Biography and CV

Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics at Rutgers University. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor at UC Irvine School of Education and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Center of Health and Wellbeing at Princeton University. I received a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes, Bogota, Colombia and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Chicago in 2014.

My research interests lie in the fields of human capital, health, development economics and applied econometrics. Within these fields, my current research projects investigate the interactions between family investments, early-life shocks and human capital formation across the life cycle.
