What did you enjoy about working on the HWWG Team?
The team encouraged workplace wellness by keeping people connected and boosting morale. – Karen
I enjoyed the connection with my team members – the camaraderie and collaboration, as well as just plain fun, all while promoting all types of wellness. – Debbie
I loved working with my teammates to create interesting content to share out to our library colleagues. I had fun and learned so much from each and every one of them. It was awesome working with people from different departments and gave me a look into their jobs. – Natalie
Our team is fun, and very very laid-back. There’s always something new to learn, especially about wellness. I learned quite a bit brainstorming and collaborating with everyone. – Raymond
What are your favorite events/memories about being on the Team?
There were many but, I always loved the pet zoom meetings. I loved seeing all the fur-babies. – Karen
The pet zoom meetings – easily reduced the stress levels. The fun themes of all our Breakaway Moments – even though we were virtual, it still felt as though we were gathered around a water cooler, and just had some great talks, and wonderful memories. – Debbie
Although I loved hosting the Pet Zoom meetings, I had the most fun collaborating with my teammates. There was so many times where we were building content to share and we would get conversations about non-dairy treats, drive-ins, and/or kite festivals. – Natalie
The Breakaway Moments were all very needed breaks! But the friendly and loose atmosphere in our group, I’ll always remember. – Raymond
How did participation on the HWWG Team contribute to your well-being?
It was a much-needed break to help me re-connect with colleagues. – Karen
Connecting with team members and working with Natalie as co-chair has been a wonderful experience and being on this team has kept my social and emotional well-being steady during the pandemic. – Debbie
This group helped my mental health quite a bit during the very beginning of working from home. It has been such an uplifting experience during these new times. And we’ve gotten to host some amazing Breakaway Moments with incredible topics as well as interacting with library colleagues, either by participating in trivia wars, seeing their cutie pets, or by sharing healthy recipes. – Natalie
Looking back at the pandemic, this group helped to keep my remote interactions healthy. Not all Zoom meetings needed to be about getting something done or fixing things. – Raymond
