I earned my PhD in sociology at UC Irvine. My areas of research include family, disability, the life course, education, inequality, and health. My dissertation used quantitative methods to examine the association of having a sibling with a disability on children’s outcomes, including early childhood behavioral problems, adolescent risk-taking behaviors, and young adult educational attainment. I am also interested in mixed method approaches.
