What is Resident Housing Association?

The Resident Housing Association (RHA) student governance is responsible for the planning, implementation, and assessment of a variety of advocacy initiatives and educational programs for the three undergraduate communities. Focusing on the UCI Student Housing A.L.L. educational areas: Wellness, Personal Responsibility, Social Responsibility, and Academic Engagement; RHA provides a platform for residents to have a representative voice within their residential communities.

Executive Board

The Resident Housing Association Executive Board will be comprised of 8 student staff positions: 1 President, 1 Vice President of Advocacy, 1 Vice President of Admin & Finance, 1 National Communications Coordinator, 1 National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) Executive Chair, and 3 Advocacy Representatives. In alignment with the A.L.L. Curricular Approach, this dynamic team will focus on centralized advocacy to create a just and equitable community.

Programming Board

RHA’s Programming Board will be comprised of 10 student staff positions: Program Advisor, Marketing Coordinator, and 8 Community Programmers. In alignment with the A.L.L. Curricular Approach, this dynamic team will focus on centralized programming in four educational areas: Wellness, Personal Responsibility, Social Responsibility, and Academic Engagement.

Our Mission

Resident Housing Association aims to recognize and unify the diverse identities within undergraduate housing in order to form a borderless community. We advocate for the residents of undergraduate housing to create a welcoming environment. Lastly, we develop large-scale educational and social programs that promote growth, leadership, and excellence. Through our actions, we uphold the University of California, Irvine Student Housing values, namely Integrity, Inclusion, Learning, and Respect.
