My name is Sireesh Vinnakota, and I am a Ph.D. student in Mathematics at the University of California, Irvine. I am broadly interested in anything under the topology umbrella, and more specifically reading about simplicial homotopy theory currently.
Outside of mathematics, I have a longtime interest in dance, the board game Go, and hip-hop.
Throughout my academic career, I have been fortunate to receive numerous awards and honors recognizing my achievements. During my undergraduate studies at Pomona College, I was the valedictorian of my graduating class and received several departmental awards within the mathematics department for outstanding achievement as a sophomore and junior. During my Master’s degree studies at Claremont Graduate University, I was awarded the John M Krenkel Endowed Fellowship.
On this website, you will find information about my experience studying math, LaTeX Templates, and (in progress) my research interests and experience.
