I am currently employed by University of California at Irvine as a research staff within PASCAL Lab, hosted by IEEE Fellow Prof. Jean-Luc Gaudiot from 2013, and I am also the Chair of Chinese Visiting-scholars and Students Association(CVSA) at UC Irvine from 2013. My research interests are in the area of Computer Architecture, Parallel and Distributed Computing, Reconfigurable and Embedded System, Automatic Software Testing, etc. My current research project ‘PASCAL Processor’ focuses on key techniques for Kilo-cores Heterogeneous Massively-threading Throughput Processor, such as uniformed physical memory system, speculative multi-threading, data prefetching, cache coherence protocol, energy and power issues, etc.
I am also an associate professor within the Department of Computing Science & Engineering, University of Shanghai for Science & Technology (USST), and supervising 6 graduate students and 7 undergraduate students in USST. Besides, I am a guest researcher within the State Key Lab of Computer Architecture of ICT. I am currently serving as referee for several journals and conferences, such as Parallel and Cloud Computing (PCC), Journal of Internet Technology(JIT), Sensor, Application Research of Computing (ARC), Journal of Chinese Computer Systems (JCCS), Chinese Journal of Computers(CJC), CDVE, IEEE CSCWD, etc.
I gained a B.E. in Computer Network Engineering (2003) from National University of Defense and Technology, and a Ph.D. in Computer Architecture (2009) from Fudan University. I am also a member of IEEE Computer Society, member of ACM, member of CCF, member of YOCSEF and board member of CCF-TCCET, and CCF-TCARCH.
Please vote for Jean-Luc Gaudiot through the link below, the candidate of president for IEEE Computer Society. Thanks!
