Special Collections and Archives at O.C. Pride festival

The Orange County Pride festival took place last Saturday, August 11 in Santa Ana. We setup a booth for the day and shared information about our LGBT archival and manuscript collections with organizations and individuals at the Pride festival. We have been building collections that document the history of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender communities in Orange County for some time.  We had a great day sharing information, making connections and having fun!  Thanks very much to the Pride festival organizers, we appreciate your support, encouragement and enthusiasm.

We made and gave away replicas of vintage buttons from our LGBT collections. A big hit, we almost ran out of them!
