New Interns for VAOHP

VAOHP recruited two new interns for the 2014-2015 academic year! Meet Kasey Nguyen, Kim Bui, and Phuc Pham.

KaseyNguyenPhotoKasey Nguyen is a third-year undergraduate studying Business Administration at University of California, Irvine. With her passion for mathematics, Kasey aspires to become an accountant and a teacher because she would like to make a positive impact on other people’s educational experiences. In her free time, Kasey enjoys volunteering for the environment and teaching cello. She believes that it is always important to help others with our capabilities and to show kindness whenever we can.

 

 
IMG_9267Kim Ngan Bui is an undergraduate student at UC Irvine majoring in Biological Sciences. With her interest in medicine, she wishes to attend pharmacy school in the new few years to pursue her dream of being a pharmacist.  She enjoys working with her community because she feels that together we can all make a difference no matter how small. She hopes to gain new experiences and learn more about her Vietnamese background through the stories of the people involved in the Vietnamese American Oral History Project.

With his zeal and enthusiasm towards computers and software, he is determined to pursue a career in the field of developing apps and new technology. He originated from Vietnam and migrated to Little Saigon in California during his childhood, where he then developed his character and personality. In gratitude, he would love to give back to the community by working with the Vietnamese American Oral History Project to share the untold stories of the Vietnamese culture and tradition.
