“Vietnamese Focus: Generations of Stories” on display at UC Irvine Student Center!

The Viet Stories: Vietnamese American Oral History Project at the University of California, Irvine presents VIETNAMESE FOCUS: GENERATIONS OF STORIES, an art and history exhibition showcasing the diversity of the Vietnamese community in Orange County, the largest outside of Vietnam. Vietnamese Americans have lived in extraordinary times, surviving war, displacement, and resettlement.

Curated by Dr. Linda Trinh Vo & Tram Le, the exhibition includes original artwork by Trinh Mai and features photographs, documents, artwork, and oral histories from Viet Stories and the UCI Libraries Orange County and Southeast Asian Archive Center (OC&SEAA) as well as materials from private collections.

LOCATION: Viewpoint Gallery on the second floor of the UCI Student Center
DATES: Saturday March 5 – Wednesday, March 30, 2016 (except for March 19 & 20 when the Student Center is closed for renovation)
HOURS: MondaySunday 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 midnight
