This was an event is dedicated to welcoming both undergraduate and graduate students and facilitating the networking between students and industry leaders in the dynamic field of energy. Pete was gracious enough to come and give a great talk to members of UCI AEE about professional like after college with a presentation entitled “So you’ve graduated with a degree in engineering, now what?”.
April 6, 2011: Ivan Lauritzen of ClearEdge Power
Special thanks to Ivan for his insights into the future of power. His talk included topics such as distributed power generation, fuel cells in large residential homes, and combined heat and power (CHP).
February 24, 2011: AEE UCI participates in E-week
AEE members built a bike generator to light up several light bulbs set up in parallel. The UCI engineering community then competed for a gift card by seeing who could keep the bulbs lit the longest.
