The opportunity to advice, teach, work with, and inspire undergraduate and graduate students is my main motivation to pursue a career in academia. Gaining strong expertise in the fields of earth sciences through my Ph.D. at UC Irvine is an opportunity to share my current knowledge and my passion for research to students. Education is probably one of the most important part of our society and I strongly believe that providing the young mind and the public a strong scientific knowledge will contribute to create a better and more resilient society.
