Welcome to the ALNS lab!

Our research has focused on understanding the functional anatomy of speech, language and hearing processes for the last 20 years. Our interests include psycholinguistics, neuropsychology, developmental disorders, and auditory perception in a variety of populations including individuals with aphasia, those with brain lesions, the elderly, and normal-hearing individuals.  We use a variety of research methods including fMRI, Electrocorticography (ECoG), MEG, psychophysics, signal processing, and computational or theoretically guided modeling.
