November 2018, myself and another Phd student in Informatics hosted an HTML workshop with the participants of STEAMing With Style. The ladies were able to learn some HTML & CSS programming skills. They also created their very own site using codepen platform.

Recruiting at Tapia conference 2017 for UCI CS Dept.

UCI's CASTL and OC ChickTech -February 2019, I was able to host a 1.5 hour workshop teaching a group of high school students about the raspberry Pi and programming languages. At the end of the workshop, the students were familiar with the Raspberry pi, well versed in the command prompt and were able to write their very own java code.

19 Girls in STEAM conference the CASTL Center at UCI hosted the first GRILS in STEAM conference in April 2019. There were over 60 high school girl participants. As a volunteer i assisted in transporting the students to their activities and I even participated in a chemistry experiment!
