7th Annual California Anesthesia Medical Student Symposium

The UCI Anesthesiology Interest Group hosted the 7th Annual California Anesthesia Medical Student Symposium on September 22, 2018. With a record number of attendees, at a maximum of 115 medical students from around the country were in attendance for the symposium. Lecture topics included, “Future Careers in Anesthesiology and Pharmacogenetics”, “Innovations in Clinical Anesthesia: How Technologies Change the Way We Practice” and “Perioperative Ultrasound”. After the lectures, two Q&A panels followed, one with current anesthesiology residents representing different residency programs and one with current anesthesia attendings.
