Due to the pandemic, we had to change our approach of working on our race car this year. Our design process was developed remotely to ensure maximum safety, and we have set strict guidelines for our engineers to return back on campus to start building the racecar.
For engineers returning to campus, our safety measures include:
- ensuring all engineers wear masks while working on the project
- maintaining a 6 foot distance between all team members
- allowing no more than two people in the lab at a time
- monitoring engineers’ health
- following all CDC guidelines
- continuously cleaning frequently touched surfaces
