Consider enrolling for independent study credit (2-4 units) with Professor Penny (Art dept) in his Orthogonal Workshop.
This quarter we are building a 2 ton 4 wheel trailer and completing a 30’ experimental sailcraft based on Micronesian voyaging canoes.

What you need
willingness to work hard and get your hands dirty,
a good work attitude, reliability and punctuality,
a set of work clothes and appropriate footwear,
availability for work sessions of 2-4 hours each week,
(relevant skills are desirable but enthusiasm and care are more important)
What you’ll get
Hands on experience with, potentially, 100s of tools.
Opportunity to design/build semi-independently, consistent with ability.
Also looking for someone with good Solidworks skills and someone to do documentation and update the website.
