This is the home page for the UC Irvine Astronomy Remote Observing Facility in 2149 Frederick Reines Hall. On this site you’ll find instructions for using the remote room equipment, and links to policies and information for remote observing at Keck Observatory and Lick Observatory.
New for Summer 2020: All observers using the remote observing facility must read and agree to the safety protocols for use of the room. These will be posted on the Safety page on this site.
The UCI Remote Observing Facility was made possible by a generous gift from John and Ruth Ann Evans. It is operated by the Department of Physics and Astronomy in the School of Physical Sciences at UC Irvine.
Questions about remote observing at UCI should be directed to Aaron Barth.
