Professional Workshop 1 & 2

Our professional workshop series involving resumes/CVs and cover letters have been fun to host! The resume/CV and cover letter workshops about what to include and do’s and don’ts was well received. We appreciate Dr. Kayleigh Anderson-Natale for her talk in both workshops. We’re glad to see everyone who joined, and hopefully we see some of you again in our next workshop!

The first workshop focuses on how to prepare a CV or resume with example templates to design your CV or resume for your next position! There was also a 30-minute peer-review session of existing resumes.

The second workshop focused on how to write a cover letter, the do’s and don’ts, and a few case studies of what makes a “good” or “bad” cover letter! Dr. Anderson-Natale provided example sentences to enhance the cover letter writing.

This is the second in a series of Professional Developments Workshops that we are planning for the year. This workshop focuses on how to write a cover letter, the do’s and don’ts, and a few case studies of what makes a “good” or “bad” cover letter! We have an excellent speaker, Dr. Kayleigh Anderson-Natale from Graduate Division, who will be leading the workshop. Any questions about cover letters such as formatting, what to include, how long to make the letter, etc. are welcome! The workshop is on March 3rd, 2021 (a Wednesday) from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.

RSVP here by March 1st.
