Welcome to the Black Faculty and Staff Association at UCI.
Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) is an organization that strives to promote a sense of kinship among Black/African-American faculty and staff members and the Black community here at the UCI. Wanting to create a purpose for those who identify as faculty and staff, the goal since our start in 1980 is to create a visible, supportive, nurturing and productive environment that serves the needs of the community.
BFSA currently serves as a central point of information exchange to a community inclusive of students, faculty, and staff. As an organization looking out for the best interest of its membership, we strive to provide a support system for all faculty and staff of the African Diaspora working here at UC Irvine.
