BFSA currently serves as a central point of information exchange to the Black community at large which includes students, faculty, and staff. As an organization looking out for the best interest of its membership, we strive to provide a support system for all faculty and staff of the African Diaspora working here at UC Irvine.
Initiative – support the Black Thriving Initiative to increase the Black population on-campus
Community – build community across the faculty and staff and bridging the gap with students
Inclusion – focus on being inclusive of all faculty and staff as well as students
