Title: Aberrant epithelial differentiation in BRCA1-mutant breast cancer
Abstract: BRCA1 is a large gene, with multiple cellular functions. Loss of BRCA1 preferentially results in the most aggressive subtype of breast cancer: basal-like. I used single-cell transcriptomics and multiomics data from a mouse model of the disease, to infer the cell state which may transition to malignancy. This will be a practice presentation for my upcoming advancement.
