Starting at 2:45pm on Friday, March 23rd, users began to report issues accessing Canvas.

This issue was caused by an unexpected error in a key campus data file that powers Canvas. We are correcting the problems this caused (see Issue Status, above), as well as putting more robust error checks in place to avoid this problem in the future.

We realize this had a negative impact on both instructors and students. We apologize for the inconvenience and problems this has caused.
