Team

Project co-Lead Audra Eagle Yun is Head of Special Collections & Archives and University Archivist at UC Irvine, where she provides leadership and vision for a team of nine librarians and staff with collection strengths in University Archives, the Critical Theory Archive, the Southeast Asian Archive, and unique collections on Orange County regional history, performing arts, and rare books. Her research areas include archival technical services, community-centered archives, and feminist leadership. She administers the project as Principal Investigator.

Project co-Lead Dr. Krystal Tribbett is the Curator for Orange County Regional History at UC Irvine. She is especially focused on supporting the creation, preservation, and accessibility of histories underrepresented, misrepresented, or absent from dominant narratives of the region. She helps lead the project implementation.

The Curator for the Southeast Asian Archive and Research Librarian for Asian American Studies at UC Irvine will serve as a co-lead for this grant and help the project implementation.

Project Coordinator Rivka Arbetter serves as a central role in the CCAP TEACH project team, helping to manage and execute grant activities including assessments with CDL, sub-awards, and a National Summit; working collaboratively to coordinate workflows and communication among stakeholders; and helping with grant administration, budgeting, and reports.

Collaborators

Christine Kim is the Online Archive of California (OAC)/Calisphere Service and Outreach Manager for the California Digital Library (CDL). She advises on the design and implementation of the research and assessment activities, assists with coordinating related project tasks, and provides input on preparing the draft and final research outputs.

Madelynn Dickerson is Head of Digital Scholarship Services (DSS) at the UCI Libraries. She actively collaborates on the design and implementation of the research and assessment activities, assists with coordinating related project tasks, and provides input on preparing the draft and final research outputs. She oversees the work of the consultants hired for the partnership with the California Digital Library assessment projects.

Consultant

Sharon Mizota is our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) metadata consultant with ten years of experience creating and managing metadata for archives, museums, libraries, and media organizations. She conducts the focused research and assessment project that helps us answer key questions such as how digital collection aggregators like the DPLA can work towards a more inclusive aggregation and what a responsible and inclusive digital exhibition framework that amplifies historically marginalized narratives is.
