10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Jerrold Post Lecture by Professor George Marcus
The Annual Jerrold Post Lecture on Neuropolitics will be delivered by Keynote Speaker George Marcus, Professor Emeritus of Political Science, Williams College.  Among his many contributions to the field of political psychology, Professor Marcus is known for the theory of Affective Intelligence, which integrates pollical science and neuroscience into an important analytic framework for understanding political behavior.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Round Table Discussion
In this interactive Round Table Discussion, questions from the audience will be reviewed by our speakers, who will be joined by Barry Chaitin, Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry & Human Behavior (UCI School of Medicine) and Shawn Rosenberg, Professor of Political Science (UCI School of Social Sciences).   The Discussion will be moderated by program co-directors Mark Fisher and Davin Phoenix and by Lauren Ross, Associate Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science (UCI School of Social Sciences).
