On Tuesday, 11 Feb at 2:00 p.m. in NSII 1201 Prof. Kieron Burke will address the physical science machine learning nexus seminar with his talk entitled “Machine learning in electronic structure theory: A brave new world?”. This seminar series will be offered every other Tuesday at 2 in NSII 1201 to inform, engage, and facilitate machine-learning research activities throughout all four PS departments and associated research collaborations.
On Friday, 14 February at 4:00 p.m. in NSII 1201 there will be another Machine Learning Nexus Social Hour. This social hour has a focus on facilitating conversations on machine learning at a more informal level. Your active participation can help us make the Machine Learning Nexus in Physical Sciences a useful tool for research and career development.
