Division of Career Pathways Opportunities

Below, please find some opportunities for students from the Division of Career Pathways!

Summer Offerings for undergraduate and graduate students:

  • Summer webinars – see attached schedule or find it online
  • Graduate Student-specific Career Programming – please view the webpage and attached flyer for graduate student-specific career programming and events (all virtual)
  • One-on-one career counseling appointments through Zoom/phone.  Sign up for virtual/phone appointments directly on Handshake.

Undergrad/Grad Alumni Support & Graduating Seniors:

  • Did you know all new UCI degree recipients have *free* access to Handshake and admission to all fairs for one year after their graduation date?
    • Learn more online and help spread the word to recent graduates!
  • We need your help encouraging graduating seniors to complete our First Destinations Survey.
    • Whether they are starting a career, continuing their education, taking time off, or figuring out what their next step will be, we want to support them in their journey. Their feedback also helps us better equip future Anteaters with their career and graduate school plans.
    • The survey takes 3 – 5 minutes and is available from June 7th through fall quarter.

2021 X-ray Crystallography Fellowship – Due June 30

We are now accepting nominations for the 2021-22 X-ray Crystallography Fellowship. The purpose of the X-ray Crystallography Facility Fellowship is to facilitate the collection and analysis of single-crystal X-ray diffraction data while providing an excellent training opportunity for graduate students to gain advanced levels of experience in solving small-molecule crystal structures.

Appointment to the Fellowship will be for the period commencing October 2021 and continuing through September 2022. In special circumstances, the appointment could be renewable and extended beyond September 2022. The fellowship provides full support equivalent to a 50% GSR position.

Faculty may submit nominations using the following form: https://scout.eee.uci.edu/s/x-ray_2021_2022. The nomination deadline is July 1 at 12am.
