June 26: Plan writing (starting at 11:30; slides📽️)
- 📺Watch: A Schrock on How to Manage Your Time on Writing Projects
- 📋Bring in: Timeline of your writing for CHI, week by week. The BootCamp will be an opportunity to discuss and get feedback on each section of your paper, but the writing should happen in parallel across sections. Include:
- what has been completed in your study: have you completed your study, how far along is your analysis, what have you written thus far
- what you have left to do: how much data you need to analyze, literature you need to review, etc. Add to do items week by week. Include revisions to your paper sections.
- any commitments you have in different weeks that you need to account for (e.g. vacation)
- 📋Bring in: Two published CHI papers which you feel are most relevant to your work, ideally both in topic and method. Upload here your timeline and papers.

- 📖Read: Five papers in your area that make the same type of contribution as yours and use similar methods (particularly qualitative/quantitative, systematic review). Pay attention to how they organize their findings. For equal work, how many themes/subthemes they have, and how they organize those themes. For quant work, how they present statistical tests, and explain what we learn from those tests.
