The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) defines career readiness as the “attainment and demonstration of requisite competencies that broadly prepare college graduates for a successful transition into the workplace.”
As the academic year comes to a close, take some time to reflect how you are progressing in the following core competencies:
- What competencies have you practiced in your leadership role(s) this academic year?
- What competencies would you like to improve upon?
- What’s next for you? What additional opportunities and experiences can help you become career ready?
